Asahidake fumarole, Hokkaido

Asahidake is an active volcano that still spews steam from several fumaroles. After getting off the Asahidake Ropeway, you can take a 1-hour course around the mountain in sneakers, where you can see these fumaroles. The smoke rising out of the mountain is very impressive, and you can really feel the nature. It's cool even in summer, so a windbreaker or jacket is a must. #SecretSummerResort #SummerShortTrip
