[Aomori] Experience the romance of the Taisho era at Starbucks🥰 and visit the Western-style buildings in Hirosaki

Hirosaki is famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot. This is a Starbucks near Hirosaki Park. The "Former 8th Division Commander's Residence" is the second store in Japan to be designated as a national registered tangible cultural property after the "Kobe Kitano Ijinkan". The entrance has a triangular roof called a gabled gable, which can be seen at shrines. It is a Western-style building that incorporates Japanese architectural styles. When you enter the store, you can't help but exclaim, "It's so beautiful!!" It has high ceilings and large windows 😳 and the hanging lights at the order counter are made of beech from Aomori. In the seating area, you can spend a relaxing time looking out at the Japanese garden. The backs of the sofas are decorated with Tsugaru Kogin embroidery, a traditional embroidery from the Tsugaru region of Aomori, but the store was full 😅 so I couldn't take a photo. From the other area, you can see Hirosaki Park. If the weather is good, you can sit on the terrace and see the cherry blossoms 🌸 in Hirosaki Park. You can enjoy visiting Western-style buildings and churches while walking around the city. I parked my rental car🚗³₃ in the underground parking lot of the Hirosaki City Tourist Center. 1 hour free, 100 yen for every 30 minutes ★ "Former Hirosaki City Library" is a three-story building based on the Renaissance style, with impressive octagonal dome towers on both sides. Admission is free and you can take photos inside👌. Japanese and Western architectural styles are used throughout.
