This is my first time in Hohhot. It only takes two hours from Beijing to Inner Mongolia.

This time I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hohhot. The fastest high-speed rail from Beijing North Railway Station to Hohhot Station only takes two hours, which is very convenient. It takes only ten minutes by taxi from Hohhot Station to the hotel, twenty minutes by taxi from Hohhot East Station, and about half an hour by taxi from the airport. The geographical location is excellent. Although it is located in the old city center of Hohhot, there are many delicious and fun things nearby. The rooms at Shangri-La Hotel in Hohhot are mainly decorated in warm colors. From the windows of the rooms you can see the mountain view and the white clouds and blue sky of Inner Mongolia, making you feel very comfortable. This time I stayed with executive treatment and could go to the executive corridor on the 21st floor of the hotel. There was happy hour from 5pm to 7pm, where I could have some snacks, watch the sunset, and drink all kinds of drinks. It was really wonderful. As for the area near the hotel, you can find the famous Inner Mongolian steamed dumpling restaurant within walking distance. It only costs a dozen yuan to take a taxi to the Grand Mosque and Wuta Temple, and then walk to Dazhao Wuliang Temple and Saishang Old Street. The hotel staff are very welcoming, which is the usual style of Shangri-La. The hotel also provides Inner Mongolian costumes, and you can take photos in the yurt in the lobby.
