Summer scorching hot trip @ Jinshan

Get off at Shek Lei Pui Reservoir bus stop and walk along Tai Po Road towards Shatin. After a while you will see the intersection of Kam Shan Road. Turn left and walk down Kam Shan Road for about five minutes. You will reach the slightly curved main dam of Kowloon Reservoir. The beauty of the main dam lies in the completely different scenery on both sides. On one side is the Kowloon Reservoir, which is as smooth as a lake, and on the other side is a waterway that meanders like a river. From a distance, you can even see the Stonecutters Bridge. This time we hiked along Kam Shan Road or Mai Keng Section 6. The section after Kowloon Reservoir was mainly empty concrete road, so there was nothing special about it. But after passing the mountain view towards Shing Mun Reservoir, the view suddenly became clear. After going down the mountain, we walked along the circular trail beside the pond. The Melaleuca alternifolia was another highlight of this trip. The thousands of layers of jasmine growing on both sides of the road attracted many couples and families to admire and take photos. Walk from Kowloon Reservoir to Shing Mun Reservoir and leave, the whole journey takes about 3 hours.
