Lockeroom Dining

Helmed by an ex-hotel chef slash loyal fan of Arsenal, @lockeroomdining is a football-themed restaurant with several branches across the city. The set dinners were a really good deal, as they included a jar of salad, daily soup with garlic bread, a main dish, complementary coffee/tea or other beverages for half price and finally 40% off the desserts 🤑 The salads came first with thick black vinegar sauce served on a befitting football field tray. The white bursting boba added a delightful sweetness to the refreshing salad 🥗 We enjoyed dipping the soft garlic bread in the carrot soup. Although the texture was creamy from the abundance of mashed carrots, surprisingly there wasn’t any milky taste 🥕 We ordered drinks towards the end of our meal. The hot chocolate (+$19) had a top layer of frothy milk foam while the iced lemon tea (+$3) was quite decent 🍋 [ʙᴏꜱᴛᴏɴ ʟᴏʙꜱᴛᴇʀ ʀɪꜱᴏᴛᴛᴏ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴛᴏᴍᴀᴛᴏ ʜᴇʀʙꜱ ꜱᴀᴜᴄᴇ] The grilled lobster was delectably stuffed with cheese and crab roe while the flesh inside the claw was juicy and tender. You can choose either pasta or risotto and even the sauce (white truffle or tomato herbs) to go with the lobster. The chewy risotto had an ideal al dente texture that complemented the crunchy peppers 🦞 [ɢʀɪʟʟᴇᴅ ᴜꜱ ᴄʀᴇᴇᴋꜱᴛᴏɴᴇ ʙᴇᴇꜰ ʀɪʙ ᴇʏᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ꜰᴏɪᴇ ɢʀᴀꜱ] A satisfying combination, the buttery foie gras had a soft delicate middle while the sauce added much flavor to the medium-rare steak. Another noteworthy feature of the dish were the healthy sides of kale, tomato and mashed potatoes 🥔 [ꜱᴏᴜꜰꜰʟᴇ ᴘᴀɴᴄᴀᴋᴇ] We had to wait a little while for the souffle pancakes as they were freshly made, but this is definitely a must-order 🥚 The eggy flavor was quite dominant with a hint of citrus and went well with the smooth vanilla ice cream (chocolate/ cookies & cream flavor also available).
