We’re usually pressed for time in Hong Kong so waiting in long lines for amazing dim sum just frankly isn’t an option. Show up a tad shy of 11 a.m. on a weekday to Tim Ho Wan in the IFC mall (in Central) usually means a short wait for some of the world’s best dumplings. The Kowloon location in Sham Shui Po is the one with the Michelin star but the food is the same here. It’s delicious.
