📍Red Brick House 📍The Red Brick House was originally the engineer's office of the old Shanghai Street Pumping Station. It was completed in 1895 and is the oldest existing pumping station building of the Hong Kong Water Supplies Department. 📍The red brick house was rated as a Grade I historic building by the Antiquities Advisory Board in 2000. The building's characteristic elements include red wall facades, cast iron rainwater pipes, cast iron water collection troughs, arched corridors and granite components. 📍I revisited Shanghai Street today and it felt great to see this red house which is rated as a Grade I historical building.
