2023 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Invitational

After a 4-year absence, the 2023 "Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Invitational" returns with honors! Dragon boat racers from around the world will gather in Hong Kong from June 24 to 25 to compete and unleash the vitality of dragon boat racing in Victoria Harbour! In addition to the two-day exciting race, residents and tourists can also take photos with LINE FRIENDS characters who will appear as dragon boat athletes for the first time in the world at the "LINE FRIENDS Hello Hong Kong Dragon Boat Check-in Point". During the two-day competition of the 2023 "Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Invitational", you can watch a series of exciting competitions at the East Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and feel the enthusiastic atmosphere of splashing waves, deafening dragon drums, and hundreds of boats competing. Everyone came to cheer for the athletes who gave their all! This international event, held in Hong Kong, the birthplace of modern dragon boat racing, promises to be thrilling and exciting. This year, Hong Kong and Macau jointly organized a dragon boat event for the first time. The strong teams participating in the "Macau International Dragon Boat Race" (June 22) and the "Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Invitational Race" came to Hong Kong to compete in the first "Hong Kong and Macau Cup" held on the 25th. Dragon boat athletes from other cities in the Greater Bay Area are also eager to try their luck and will participate in the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Championship" in Hong Kong on the same day to compete for honors.
