The flower color is pink or light pink, with smaller flower shape. It sheds leaves before blooming, and the flowers are clustered or arranged in a corymb, also known as Pink Fuji Sakura. The flowering period of Fuji Sakura is generally from late February to March. Several blooming Fuji Sakura trees can be enjoyed near the riverbank near the kite-flying area.
