Revitalized pre-war tenement building

The tenement building complex at 618 Shanghai Street, Mong Kok is a revitalization project for a Grade II historic building. It retains the facades of former shops and the arcade style of Lingnan architecture. The basement is currently used for special exhibitions for the community and has also housed a number of boutique hipster shops. In addition to the Malay restaurant and tea shop on the basement floor, there are also an ice cream parlor, a pizza restaurant and a restaurant operated by a social enterprise upstairs, with good service and food. #618shanghaistreet #localtour
