𓄴 𓄴 I rarely take the South Island Line to discover new food spots. This time, I visited Wong Chuk Hang with my friends and unexpectedly discovered a nice bar and restaurant. Insanity specializes in multi-national fusion cuisine. The staff are all foreigners and the overall style is quite exotic. Maybe because there are industrial buildings nearby, there aren’t many people here on weekends, so you can drink and chat with friends, which is quite relaxing. We ordered the Special Combo Set ($328), which is suitable for 2-3 people and includes soup/salad, two appetizers and two main dishes. 𓄮 Daily soup The pumpkin soup is very filling, you can taste the pumpkin flesh, the taste is original, warm and smooth. 𓄮 Royal Fried Chicken Wings The chicken wings are not dipped in batter before frying, so the skin is golden and crispy, and the inside is still full of gravy. The whole chicken wing is used here, which has the wing tip part which is the most fragrant and flavorful part compared to the chicken wings you usually eat outside. It’s delicious! 𓄮 Black Truffle French Fries Freshly fried, golden, hot and crispy, served with tomato sauce and sweet and spicy sauce, it is so delicious that you can't stop eating. 𓄮 Baked spaghetti with meat sauce Must-try recommendation! This is really delicious! It's been a long time since I've had such a filling spaghetti bolognese. There was a lot of minced meat, the sauce was sour and appetizing, the pasta was chewy, and the portion was large. There was nothing to complain about. 𓄮 Curry Chicken Rice Personal recommendation. The curry here is more Indian style, with heavier spices and a spicy taste. It's the kind that will make you sweat slightly halfway through eating it. If you don’t like spicy food, you can consider ordering other dishes. But the style and spiciness are just what I like, and it comes with a few slices of pizza in addition to the rice, which makes it very satisfying. 𓄮 Mango Madness $68 Although it is a bar, there are many non-alcoholic options. Although Mango madness is based on sweet mango, cucumber is cleverly added to it, so the taste is richer and more refreshing. 𓄮 Strawberry Spritzer $65 The sweet strawberry paired with the dreamy pink color is a must-try for girls. The quality of food and drinks was very satisfactory. The restaurant's L-shaped bar and the giant mural at the back are very eye-catching. A lot of hanging green plants are used to decorate the extra-high floor, making the overall atmosphere very relaxing.
