A Very Satisfying Teppanyaki Birthday Meal~

Because it was my little sister's birthday, I wanted to treat her to a nice meal. We left dinner for her and her other half, so I arranged for us to have Japanese cuisine, something we rarely eat on ordinary days. Of course, on such a special day, we should indulge in something we don't usually have! Most importantly, I made an early reservation and informed the restaurant about the birthday, so there was a little surprise waiting for us >W< Sitting in front of the chef allowed us to fully enjoy watching the cooking skills on display. The appetizer included a salad with yuzu vinegar dressing. The starters from the left were burdock root, mentaiko (spicy cod roe) salad, and smoked chicken. The burdock was flavorful and appetizing, making for a great starter. The mentaiko salad was interesting, with a refreshing and fragrant taste. The smoked chicken was tender and had a distinct smoky flavor as soon as you took a bite, which felt quite unique. Next was the chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), topped with salmon roe and black truffle, and served with bonito broth. The egg was silky smooth, with a fragrant aroma, and the addition of shredded wood ear mushrooms added texture. Before serving the lobster and American beef, the main dishes were presented to everyone. Just looking at them made us drool with anticipation! The lobster was prepared on the teppanyaki grill, accompanied by purple sweet potato powder, which added a special aroma when eaten with the lobster. The sauce on top of the lobster was made from lobster paste, making the lobster meat bouncy and bringing out the salty sea flavor – it was incredibly delicious! The lobster head was saved for making soup later. Then came the American beef and Japanese vegetables. Garlic slices were placed on top, and there was a good variety of fresh vegetables, with the asparagus being particularly fresh and without any fibrous residue. The beef was wrapped around mushroom threads and was very fragrant and flavorful even without any sauce. Delicious! There were three types of sauces available for the beef: a sour sauce, miso, and sesame. Although it was tasty with the sauces, the original flavor was already fantastic!!! There was also pepper and rose salt available to enhance the beef's aroma. Amazing! The teppanyaki fried rice was made with homemade plum sauce, paired with sakura shrimp, dried whitebait, and bonito flakes, creating a unique and refreshing taste. Halfway through, we added bonito broth to make a soup rice, which was excellent! Then came the soup made from the lobster head, which was rich and flavorful! It was a completely different taste from the soup rice. The dessert was a sesame mochi filled with plenty of red beans, which was wonderful. Ding ding, a special birthday dessert! You can always tell the restaurant about anniversaries! Each time, the restaurant will create a different drawing and have a different arrangement~ So great! My little sister was very satisfied with this birthday meal. Indeed, on special days, you should eat happily, and it was truly satisfying~
