The Hong Kong Railway Museum is located in Tai Po, covering an area of ​​more than 6,500 square meters. It was formerly the old station building of Tai Po Market Station, which was in service from 1913 until it was retired in 1983 due to electrification reform. The museum houses a number of retired trains, including seven historic carriages, manual and motorized engineering vehicles.
