It’s been a while since I’ve been to Singapore, and when it comes to Singaporean cuisine, what I miss the most is not the bak kut teh, but the pepper crab! Today is the night of Happy Monday, with 70% off the main menu a la carte, no wonder there are so many diners! We wanted to keep it simple and ordered the “Singapore Style Set B” with the black pepper crab I was craving. Sin Chew Black Pepper Crab It smells very fragrant as soon as it is served. The black pepper crab was cooked just right, the crab meat remained fresh, plump and juicy, and the black pepper was only fragrant but not spicy, tasty and able to bring out the freshness of the crab itself. The sauce is rich and flavorful, full of Singaporean flavor, and definitely worth an encore! Singapore Golden Brick Tofu I thought it was a small plate of snacks, but it turned out to be a large piece, and there were 10 pieces! The inside of the golden brick tofu is tender tofu, super tender texture, the outer layer is fried firm and dry and not greasy, with special seasonings, a simple dish can be done so excellent. Salad pork ribs The salad dressing tasted fresh and delicious, the super smooth and tender pork chop wrapped in a thick layer of salad dressing, perfect for such a hot summer. Shrimp flavored caviar shrimp ball fried rice The shrimp balls are big, crispy and bouncy, fried to golden brown rice and egg, plus crab and onion, good. Signature Lime Lemongrass Ice Cream Lime, lemongrass itself already has a very fresh feeling, plus mint leaves, crushed ice and high-fiber chia seeds, the sweet and sour ratio is moderate, cool and refreshing. Lemon barley water It can relieve thirst and remove dampness, healthy and nourishing. It is so good to drink both hot and cold. The taste of the food tonight was indeed excellently done and made me reminisce.
