Accidentally broke into the modern version of "Kowloon Walled City"｜Monster Mansion

This is the filming location for the movie "Transformers 4"! It is also the place in Hong Kong that most resembles the Kowloon Walled City! Hi ~ This is Hong Kong, North Point, Quarry Bay, it is really a guide from somewhere ~ Originally, my husband and I came here just to find an old store. After exiting the subway station, we saw a very special building in the distance. From the map, it looks like it is composed of five buildings and is shaped like an "E". We talked about it and took photos of it. Unexpectedly, when we walked in, it looked very familiar, and we found out that it was the famous Monster Mansion in Hong Kong. Many movies including Transformers were filmed here. It was built in the 1960s and has a population of more than 10,000. It has a dense layout, a unique appearance, and extremely small distances between buildings. When I stood on the patio in the middle of the building and looked up at the sky, the feeling was so shocking! Some people say it looks like a pigeon cage, but for some people, the Monster Building is not just a complex of buildings, but also contains the atmosphere of old Hong Kong and unique urban cultural memories.
