Hong Kong Ocean Park Travel Guide

Start your day at Hong Kong Ocean Park by heading straight to the Waterfront Station at 10 AM to catch the Ocean Express to the Summit. At this time, the attractions at the Summit are usually not crowded. Once you arrive, head to the left and take the escalator to "Thrill Mountain," where you can enjoy popular rides like the Hair Raiser (the only 360-degree swing in China), the Arctic Blast (a suspended roller coaster), and bumper cars without waiting in line. Next to Thrill Mountain is "Polar Adventure," where you can ride a small roller coaster and see penguins, Arctic foxes, and walruses. Afterward, visit "Rainforest," where you can go on a rafting adventure and explore the Rainforest Trail to see aviaries and land animals. Have lunch at the Bayview Restaurant, located above the Jellyfish Aquarium. After lunch, explore "Aqua City," ride the Ferris wheel, swings, and pirate ship, then walk to the Observation Tower and finally visit the Pacific Pier to see seals. Return to the Bayview Restaurant area and take the cable car down the mountain. The right track offers an unobstructed sea view. Once you reach the bottom, you'll arrive at "Aqua City," where you can see sloths and stroll through Old Hong Kong Street. Next, visit "Amazing Asian Animals" to see pandas, goldfish, and crocodiles. Then, head to "Whiskers Harbour" to ride the mini train, carousel, and see meerkats. Finally, visit the "Sichuan Treasures" to see golden monkeys and explore the "Ocean Wonders" to view the underwater world with its giant ocean column. End your day by browsing the gift shop at the entrance and taking photos. We left the park at 5:30 PM. Tips: Bring mosquito repellent, a raincoat, sunglasses, a hat, snacks, and water. There are many rides both on the mountain and at the base, so avoid eating too much before going on rides to prevent nausea. If you plan to visit both Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, visit Ocean Park first. Meals generally cost around 66 HKD, and water is about 18 HKD. #HongKongOcean #HongKongOceanParkMarriottHotel
