Hang Heung Bakery Opens New Ice Room

Recently, I learned that the renowned Hong Kong bakery, Hang Heung, has opened a new ice room. As someone who loves trying new things, I had to check it out. Hang Heung has several branches in Hong Kong, including Shimen, Jordan, and Sheung Wan. I chose the Sheung Wan branch, which is closest to my home, to enjoy lunch. Hang Heung Signature Fried Rice - This fried rice is only available at the Sheung Wan branch. Each grain of rice is distinct and coated with egg, paired with bouncy shrimp and savory Chinese sausage, without being too greasy. Signature Satay Beef Instant Noodles with Pineapple Bun - The satay sauce in this noodle dish is very rich, and the beef is tender. The crispy exterior and soft interior of the pineapple bun make for a great combination. Snowflake Custard French Toast - This French toast is sprinkled with powdered sugar, giving a warm winter feeling. When I cut into the toast, the custard slowly oozed out... Snowy Ovaltine - This drink also carries a winter vibe. 3.6 Milk Red Bean Ice - The red beans are soft but not overly sweet, just right. The restaurant is always bustling during lunchtime. If you don't have time to sit down and enjoy, there's also a bakery where you can quickly grab some delicious bread to take home.
