Waso Cafe in Hong Kong offers delicious dim sum, and even though it's a chain, it maintains a certain standard. Just look at the crowd waiting in line. During my overnight stay in Hong Kong, I specifically went to a branch near my hotel for breakfast. After taking a number, I only had to wait about ten minutes before being called, which was quite fast. The environment is typical of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant, with small, cramped seating, but you get used to it. We ordered scallion oil pork chop noodles, egg salad sandwich, salted beef bun, signature pineapple bun, and iced milk tea. Although the food is authentically Hong Kong-style, it's a bit greasy and heavy, so a cup of iced milk tea helps to balance it out. The atmosphere at Waso Cafe is very Hong Kong, quite classic and local. Despite being small and cramped, the environment is bright, and the dim sum is exquisite and flavorful, making it a great choice for trying something new.
