Trip to Victoria Peak 🇭🇰

We’ve been to Victoria Peak ⛰️ multiple times, and each visit feels just as breathtaking as the last. If you’re planning a trip, here’s our recommended one-day itinerary, highlighting the best spots for photography and the perfect timing for your visit 🙌 We started our day early ⛅️ to beat the crowds and took the Peak Tram, an iconic way to ascend to the top. The steep incline makes for a thrilling ride, and the view gets better as you go higher 🙌 Once we arrived, we headed straight to Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 The panoramic skyline of the city is absolutely stunning, especially with the morning light. If you love capturing cityscapes, this is a must-visit 💯 📍 Peak Tram Lower Terminus – 33 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong Instead of rushing, we took our time and explored Lugard Road 🛣️ a peaceful walking trail that circles around the peak. This spot is perfect for nature and landscape photography, with lush greenery 🌳 framing the skyline. About 15 minutes into the walk, we reached a famous viewpoint with an unobstructed panoramic view 😍 of Hong Kong’s skyline and Victoria Harbour, one of our favorite hidden gems for taking photos 📸 📍 Lugard Road Lookout – Lugard Road, The Peak, Hong Kong After a relaxing walk, we explored The Peak Galleria, which has great souvenir shops and cafés 🍽️ For lunch, we recommend Wildfire Pizzabar & Grill 🍕 where we enjoyed a meal with a view overlooking the city. One of the best free spots for photography 📸 is Lion’s Pavilion, just a short walk from the tram 🚊 station. Watching the city lights turn on as the sky darkens is mesmerizing, and it’s one of the best places to capture Hong Kong’s skyline 💯 📍 Lion’s Pavilion – Next to Peak Tram Upper Terminus, The Peak, Hong Kong We highly recommend visiting both in the morning and staying until sunset if you have time.
