Exploring 6 lounges during a 12-hour layover in Hong Kong!

VIP Lounges Who can relate? Arrived in Hong Kong at 10:30 PM and had a flight at 8:30 AM the next day, leaving me with a 12-hour window to transform into a lounge explorer 🚀. I managed to check out Intervals, Cathay Pacific's The Pier Business/First Class lounges, and Plaza Premium Lounge! First stop was Intervals at the Sky Bridge. Strictly speaking, it's more of a restaurant. The floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning and Instagram-worthy, but unfortunately, I arrived at 11:15 PM just as they were closing 😭. Luckily, they let me snap a few photos overlooking the airport! You can use DragonPass/PP to redeem meal sets here, with different menus before and after 11 PM. On a good weather day, this spot is perfect for dining, sipping drinks, and plane-watching—totally chill. The highlight had to be Cathay Pacific lounges! The Pier Business Class lounge at Gate 65 is simply divine 🌟. Western cuisine includes pizza, the bar serves their signature Cathay Delight, the Chinese section offers Dan Dan noodles, and the tea room has freshly squeezed juices—it's like a gourmet food expo! The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a perfect view of planes taking off and landing, capturing all the airport action. However, they start clearing out at 12:30 AM, so I quickly moved to The Wing lounge at Gate 2. The Wing has plenty of seating, but reclining chairs are scarce 🥲. The private spaces are decent, and the hot food selection is similar to The Pier. Unfortunately, they close at 3:00 AM, politely asking guests to leave. But this was just the beginning!
