One of the Three Peaks of Saigon: Fisherman

The Fishing Peak stands on the Clear Water Bay Peninsula. It is sharp and towering into the sky. It is known as one of the "Three Peaks of Sai Kung". There are two theories about the origin of its name. One theory is that the nearby Miaozaidun is round and arched, and looks like the long beak and body of a kingfisher (also known as a fisherman) when viewed horizontally; the other theory is that this peak looks like a fisherman wearing a straw hat, so it is called "Fisherman". There are small paths on the northwest and southwest slopes of the Fishing Peak that lead directly to the top of the mountain. There is also a rural trail built in the belly of the mountain. Visitors can climb the mountain and go for a leisurely outing. Visitors can choose one of the two according to their preferences and abilities. 🗓️ Itinerary: Wu Kuai Tin - Sheung Yeung Shan - Miaozaidun - Fishing Peak - Tai Au Mun Road Time required: 3 hr Length: 5.5 km Itinerary The route starts from Wu Kuai Tin, walks along the rural trail, and soon leaves the busy road. The path rises slowly, overlooking Xiangsi Bay on the way. Walk a little further and pay attention to the warning sign on the left. From here, leave the fishing trail and walk on. After climbing the hillside, you can clearly see the pointed fishing tree. Slightly descend the valley and climb to the top. Then walk down the gravel slope on the other side and you will soon be back on the trail. If you continue to walk left for a short distance on the bathing trail, there will be a path down to Da'aomen Road (or go straight and continue on the trail).
