"Wang Laoji Herbal Tea Shop" Special Exhibition

The Hong Kong Museum of History’s special exhibition “Herbal Tea Shop” displays a herbal tea shop from 50 or 60 years ago, displaying nostalgic herbal tea pots, herbal tea, radios and pictures. This scene can only be seen in TV dramas, but it is so special to be able to reproduce it before your eyes now! In the past, there were not many public leisure activities for citizens. Most people liked to go to herbal tea shops with friends to drink herbal tea, read newspapers or listen to radio dramas and music played on the radio in the shops during their leisure time. The herbal tea shops are mainly located in Queen's Road West in Sai Ying Pun, Hollywood Road in Central, Queen's Road East in Wan Chai, and Shanghai Street and Shandong Street in Mong Kok.
