Halloween night staycation

Address: Exit B of Sheung Wan MTR Station, a few minutes’ walk away. Opposite Shun Tak Centre, the location is close to the subway station and tram station, very convenient. Price: $300 weekdays ~ $500 holidays Service: The check-in staff was very friendly. Since the hotel only provides express check-out service, a deposit of $500 must be paid by credit card (but to be honest, it is rare to need a deposit nowadays). My credit card had expired on the day of check-in, but the counter staff was willing to let me stay without a deposit and was very smiling. When I met the cleaners, they also had smiles on their faces, and there was no bitterness at all, which made the stay experience more pleasant in a different way. Facilities: The entrance to the hotel is narrow, so it's easy to pass by without noticing. The hotel is newly opened, the room facilities are very new and the environment is also good. But the water is not free ($8) which is a bit disappointing. The hair dryer is inside the cabinet, so you don't need to plug it in. The toilet only provides toilet paper, toothbrush and shower cap. There are no body lotions, razors and other supplies like other hotels. The shower gel also has a dry texture. But the showerhead is plenty powerful and the hot water is very consistent. The kettle had no peculiar smell and the cups were very clean, but the quality of the tea bags was not very good and there were not many choices. The air conditioning system is functioning normally. The view from the room faces Victoria Harbour. If we only talk about the view, there is probably no better one at the same price. In terms of facilities, there are other options with similar cost performance. Thoughts: Great value for money, and holidays aren't too expensive. The staff was friendly and there was no unpleasantness during the stay. The room has a good view and good soundproofing. The room size is also large. There should be better options for hotels of the same price on weekdays, but the price is not much higher on holidays, so it is worth a visit.
