Causeway Bay's super cool food stall hotpot ~ "Downstairs" hot pot

Last weekend, I went to Causeway Bay to eat After You, and I happened to meet a friend who lived nearby, so we just went downstairs to eat hotpot. This shop has a bit of an internet celebrity vibe, maybe because of the too many neon lights, and the fact that the decoration imitates the style of old Hong Kong shops. So while eating, I saw many good-looking men and women who were not serious about the hot pot, but were trying hard to check in and take photos. The restaurant is relatively large among Hong Kong-style hotpot restaurants, and the tables and chairs are all in the style of food stalls. The only difference is that the air conditioning is very sufficient. Don’t be fooled by its nostalgic appearance, the interior is also nostalgic. The soup bases include classic thick satay and nostalgic pork soup base; the ingredients include pork trotters and preserved vegetable pork hand-made balls, which are not commonly seen in the market~ Ahahahaha~ The coriander, preserved egg and tofu soup base that must be chosen for Hong Kong-style hot pot without thinking or looking at the menu is here~ I personally like it quite a lot. Although I don’t know if it really has the effect of clearing heat and detoxifying, at least the relatively fresh soup base can retain the taste of the ingredients themselves. As a beef fanatic, the platter is a must. There are Australian beef, local beef, Angus beef, fresh beef cubes and thick-cut beef tongue cubes. The local beef is particularly chewy and feels like it really exercises your masseter muscles. I personally prefer Angus beef and beef tongue cubes, which are tender and slightly refreshing, and won’t make your face feel uncomfortable when you eat them. Crispy grass carp is a very common ingredient in Hong Kong-style hot pot. Theirs tastes good, and the best thing is that there are not many bones~ There was a big eater present that day, and after eating the hot pot, I still felt unsatisfied, so I encore half a chicken pot~ As soon as it was served, it exuded a fragrance of chili, coriander, onion and garlic, which attracted the good-looking men and women at the next table to come and watch.
