Tuen Mun | Dingli | Surprising new dishes

There is a small shop in Hongqiao, Tuen Mun Station, which has been open for more than a year. It specializes in homemade udon and cold brew coffee. It is quite enjoyable to drink coffee and eat udon☺️. Recently the shop has added new elements, along with new decoration and food, so Jingjing and Shumei 🐿 went to try it out 😎. - The new menu has three soup bases to choose from, themed on heaven, earth and sea, with the secret recipe "Bonito Soul" as the base🤤, and a variety of handmade desserts are added. This time I added HKD$70 to upgrade the ghost set, which includes pudding and cold brew coffee or tea. - ▪︎Cold brew coffee HKD$60 The coffee beans are made from Gardelli Coffe Roaster, the coffee is darker in color, and tastes slightly sour with a bit of fruity aroma😗. Take a sip of the soup first, then take a sip of the coffee to change the taste of the coffee. The coffee flavor is sweet and rich🥰, and the sweet soup base has a rich layering. - ▪︎Cold brew tea HKD$55 Use Wuyi Mountain Zhengshan Xiaozhong black tea for cold brewing, the tea color is ruddy. The tea base has a rich sweet aroma, and you can taste the fragrant peach flavor 😚. The taste is slightly sour with a little sweetness, and it goes well with udon. - ▪︎day • Standing HKD$95 It is a secret recipe of Angelica, Chicken and White Fish Soup, with a thick milky white soup base. You can first taste the fragrance of Angelica, then the rich chicken soup flavor😍, and the fish soup flavor is not too prominent. The udon has a chewy and bouncy texture, and it won’t become tender even if left out for a while, which proves that the store has put in a lot of effort 😎. - ▪︎Sea • Dingli HKD$95 It is a combination of shrimp head, lobster and fish soup, which is more delicious. The shrimp flavor is very strong and exudes the aroma of sake🤤. Each bowl also comes with slow-cooked pork shoulder and belly, barbecued pork, kelp, fried rice and handmade udon. The slow-cooked barbecued pork is tender and the fat is released after searing, making it more delicious 😊. - ▪︎Tiramisu HKD$65 Desserts are made to order to maintain the taste, and the tiramisu can be chosen to be soft or hard, which surprised us 🤩. This time I chose the hard version, and the finger biscuits have a crispier texture. The coffee flavor is not too strong, and the overall taste is sweet but not greasy. You can taste the aroma of rum and wine at the same time, and the hard version has a lighter smell of wine. - ▪︎Pudding HKD$35 The pudding has a rich and sweet egg flavor, a smooth texture, and the milky taste is not too strong.
