[Hawaii] The beautiful and tranquil Honolulu Museum of Art, which also features paintings by Monet!

#0yentrip The Honolulu Museum of Art, which I visited during my stay in Honolulu, was a quiet space a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Inside, there were several courtyards, each with a different atmosphere, and just walking between the exhibition rooms was soothing. The museum was larger than I expected, with a wide variety of genres and regions, from Western paintings to Asian crafts and Japanese ukiyo-e. The ukiyo-e collection in particular was overwhelming, and I felt like I was experiencing Japanese beauty more than when I was in Japan. I looked carefully, and time passed by in the blink of an eye. It was also nice to take a break in the attached cafe and enjoy a quiet time while looking out at the courtyard. It was a luxurious moment to experience art in Hawaii.
