Hualien Xincheng Hotel Recommendation - A three-star hotel with five-star service.

🛌 The wooden decor creates a relaxing atmosphere. The room offers a direct view of Hualien's mountains, which is truly refreshing. I love the chaise lounge in the room, perfect for lounging while using your phone or watching TV. The bathroom is equipped with separate wet and dry areas, as well as heating and drying facilities, which is very considerate. 🚗 Convenient location: There is a Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus stop nearby that can take you to Taroko Gorge. It's a 10-minute walk to Xincheng Train Station and a 20-minute walk to the city center. If you wake up early, you can even walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. 🍽️ High-quality meals: Although the breakfast selection is not extensive, all ingredients are natural and unprocessed. They offer freshly cooked eggs, stir-fried vegetables, pumpkin soy milk, and homemade blueberry yogurt with whole blueberries. You can feel the care the hotel puts into providing the most natural ingredients for their guests. We also chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the set menu for two included a platter of salted chicken and pork, tofu pot, and an appetizer platter, all of which were delicious. 🌹 Beautiful backyard garden: On sunny days, the light and shadows on the garden's pine trees and various plants are stunning! You can also play with the hotel's pet cats 🐈, but make sure to apply mosquito repellent as Hualien is known for its black mosquitoes! 👍 Five-star service: They offer shuttle service to and from Xincheng Station. On the day of our arrival, we were the only ones using the shuttle, and we were grateful to the driver for taking us to buy Jiaxing lemon juice. During check-in, the front desk staff provided freshly made juice, and in the afternoon, the lobby area even offered afternoon tea with delicious Hualien watermelon 🤤.
