Conquer the Lesser Mount Tiandu with Ease

Mount Tiandu is located in Huangshan Scenic Area, with an altitude of 1,810m. It is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan and one of the most precipitous peaks in Huangshan. Transportation: Take the scenic area bus from the South Gate of Huangshan Scenic Area to Yungu Temple Station, transfer to the cable car to Baie Ridge Station, and walk for about 1.5 hours to reach Mount Tiandu. You can also walk 2 hours from the upper station of Yuping Cableway to reach it. Best season: April to November is the best climbing period, with azaleas blooming in May and the most beautiful autumn colors in October. Hiking route: It is recommended to go up the mountain from the direction of Yupinglou, passing Yingke Pine and Lotus Peak, the whole journey takes about 3–4 hours. You can choose to return to Yungu Temple via Banshan Temple when descending the mountain. Note that Mount Tiandu implements a one-way traffic system. Must-see attractions: 1.
