To visit this ancient temple, I made a special trip to Victoria Harbor Bay.

The wisdom of Buddhism has always been a beacon for life's reflections, teaching people how to face the ups and downs of life and how to maintain inner peace and tranquility. This time, to check in at the legendary Qingquan Ancient Temple, I specifically came to Victoria Harbor Bay in Daya Bay, Huizhou. Qingquan Ancient Temple, a 370-year-old Guanyin Bodhisattva site, is nestled among green mountains and clear waters, as if it were a gift from nature. Upon entering the ancient temple, one is immediately drawn to the two perennial, sweet, and clear springs, which seem to wash away the troubles of the world. The architectural style of the temple is simple and elegant, with every brick and tile revealing the marks of time. The Mahavira Hall, Guanyin Hall, and Wealth God Hall each house exquisite Buddha statues that inspire awe. Driving: Take the Huizhou-Shenzhen Coastal Expressway, exit at Xiayong, and follow the signs. Public Transport: Go to Huiyang Bus Station, take Bus 188 (towards Panda Golden Coast) to Xiayong Amusement Park, then transfer to Bus 189 directly to Qingquan Ancient Temple. Accommodation Recommendation: After your visit, I highly recommend staying in the Nanyang Twin Bed Room at Country Garden Victoria Harbor Bay. Here, you can face the sea directly, fall asleep to the sound of the waves at night, and feel as if you are embraced by nature. In the morning, open the window to see the beautiful sea view, which will surely lift your spirits.
