A charmingly small town in Jujuy Province, Humahuaca

If you're planning to visit the Hornocal in the Humahuaca Valley, this town serves as the perfect base. The town is compact, and you can easily walk to any destination, including the bus terminal. However, the cobblestone streets might not be ideal for rolling suitcases. Humahuaca is home to stylish guesthouses and cafes, making it a great place to spend a few days. There's also a mercado (market) where you can shop for groceries without any trouble. At the mercado, you'll find handmade potato chips in various flavors that you won't see elsewhere—highly recommended!
