Huzhou Accommodation Experience｜Honest Review of "River of Time"

As a travel blogger, I got caught up in the short video hype before Labor Day. Moroccan🇲🇦-style B&Bs are rare in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area, so I decided to check out "River of Time" this time. It's understandable that this newly opened B&B couldn't fully handle the Labor Day rush, so I stayed for two days before Dragon Boat Festival to share my honest experience. I wouldn't compare it to chain hotels. I'd rather describe it as a 12-floor photography studio with sleeping facilities. During this trial operation period, the commercial area downstairs and rooftop garden aren't open yet, but breakfast and afternoon tea are available. Amenities include disposable items (towels, bath towels, toothbrushes, combs, toothbrush cups, and drinking cups). Rooms are cleaned daily, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. When we reported a drain odor issue, they immediately offered to change our room, though we didn't switch due to too much luggage. Each room comes with a commemorative "River of Time" coin that can be kept or exchanged for new products/ice cream. We stayed in the "Dune Viewing King Room" which has a balcony (though no bathtub🛁). The lobby has a cinema, reading area, breakfast restaurant, and laundry room with 4️⃣ washers and dryers (which get crowded between 8-10pm), plus ironing equipment. With its photogenic design, Room 121 on the first floor is specially open for guests (9:30am-8:30pm) as an Instagram-worthy Moroccan-style spot. The large terrace on the right side of the main entrance is also a public area that's super photogenic.
