Hurrah for Hvar!

Hvar is a port and resort town on the Croatian island of the same name. It has a very long and vibrant history and many of its ancient buildings remain intact. The exquisite old town Square is a fine example. Hvar is very popular with tourists as it is within easy reach of Split by local ferry.
