Spring Wanders in Koko-en Garden

This place is actually made up of nine mini gardens, all styled like they’re straight out of samurai times, think koi ponds, little waterfalls, stone paths, and perfectly trimmed trees just doing their thing. Spring brings out the cherry blossoms and fresh greens, and it all just glows. You’ve got petals floating on the ponds, birds doing their spring songs, and mountain views in the background. It’s peaceful, super photogenic, and weirdly makes you feel like a calm, nature-loving noble from the Edo era. It’s never crazy packed either, so you can take your time, breathe deep, and just vibe with the scenery. If you’re heading to Himeji in spring, don’t skip this garden.
