The most amazing thing about Goreme is the Ihlala Valley, which has a steep cliff, a valley flowing inside, and a short hiking course around it. The valley looks like it's selling neungi-baeksuk (pork bone stew), and the cats and ducks are precious beings that vividly bring back my memories. You should definitely visit it too!
