Athabasca Falls: The most stunning and spectacular waterfall in the Rocky Mountains

Although Athabasca Falls is not the largest waterfall in the Rocky Mountains, the river water, melted from ancient glaciers, rushes down and leaps off a 23-meter-high cliff, making it extremely impressive. This makes it the most stunning and spectacular waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Jasper town to this attraction. The parking lot is very close to the site, and a short walk will bring you to the falls. The long-term erosion by the water has carved the riverbed below the cliff into winding gullies and many potholes. The water falls from above, making a roaring sound that can be heard from afar.
