Vermillion Lakes is a group of three lakes located west of Banff, Alberta, in the Canadian Rockies. Vermillion Lakes are formed in the Bow River Valley in Banff National Park, between the Trans-Canada Highway and the Canadian Pacific Railway. A network of lush marshes and expansive lakes in the Bow Valley, Vermillion Lakes is a popular spot for tourists and locals seeking a relaxing solace from the bustling town of Banff. The lakes are close to town and offer stunning views of Mount Rundle and Mount Sulphur, making them a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset, spot wildlife, or just spend a relaxing day on shore. The beauty here is really beyond what pictures can show. When I brought my companions here, they were shocked by the scenery and couldn't help saying that it was a hundred times more beautiful than Jiuzhaigou.
