After leaving Exit 5 of Gyesan Station, if you walk up the gentle slope, you will come to the entrance to the hiking trail of Mt. Gyeyang. Instead of going in there, turn left and you will arrive. When I entered the museum, I was guided to the cafe on the third floor for some reason. It was hot, so I took a break by drinking iced quince tea. The bear-shaped ice is cute 🥰 The second floor is a special exhibition space that is not really related to mountain fortresses. When I went there, there were wooden statues of insects made by a mineral and wood sculptor. When the staff member who was guiding me through the exhibition found out that I was a foreigner, he explained the permanent exhibition related to mountain fortresses on the first floor in Korean and English. I want to go to the mountain fortress❗️ 산성에 가고 싶어요！ When I told him, he said, "Is it okay even though it's hot?" Do you have water? He took me to the entrance of the fortress, worried about me. Geyangsanseong Fortress has a promenade so that you can walk around. When I went there, old men were taking a break and mowing the grass in the heat. Some areas are under construction, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it will turn out in the future. Geyangsanseong Fortress is located at the entrance to Gyeyangsan Mountain, and although it's not quite mountain climbing, it is still enjoyable for hiking and walking.
