Interlaken, a paradise town in a mysterious fairyland.

The "most beautiful towns" in China and abroad are all exquisite, historic, and have stories and characteristics. Interlaken, ranked first among the “Top Ten Most Beautiful Towns in Switzerland”, is also known as the “Paradise Town under the Jungfrau”. The name "Interlaken" of Interlaken means "between two lakes" in Latin. The beautiful town of Interlaken is located between two famous lakes, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. For this reason, Lake Thun is also called "God's Left Eye" and Lake Brienz is called "God's Right Eye". The world heritage site "Jungfrau", known as the "Top of Europe", is one of the highest peaks in the Alps. You can take the Jungfrau Railway in Interlaken to reach the top of the mountain and enjoy the magnificent natural scenery. Here you can see towering snow-capped mountains, clear lakes, clean and quiet streets, quaint cottages, and beautiful scenery. The mild climate all year round and the ancient and cultural atmosphere made it a famous holiday resort in the Victorian era; it was a place where Mark Twain and Queen Victoria lingered; and now it has become the place where the hero and heroine of the Korean drama "Crash Landing on You" fell in love. Coming down from the glacier, the bus we took continued the beautiful scenery we saw from the train: green grass on both sides of the mountains, wooden houses dotted on the hillsides, clear lakes by the roadside, and beautiful mountains and waters, all naturally beautiful. The lake near the town is shrouded in clouds and mist, the mountain peaks seem to appear and disappear, and the emerald green lake water gently inverts the backs of the mountains, as if driving into a fairyland ❷❸❻❼❽❾. There is a large green space in the center of Interlaken Street, which is the garden of an early monastery. Standing on this lawn, you can overlook the beautiful Jungfrau❶⓬⓮(above)⓰. I am obsessed with this dreamlike and beautiful scenery. The theme here is: fog, clouds, green and tranquility. Especially the clouds floating between the mountains in front of you, like a flowing painting. The mountains, trees and buildings in the distance are covered by gauze-like clouds. Everything seems so unreal, yet so vivid. The clouds are particularly low-hanging, adding a sense of intimacy, as if people can reach out and touch the misty fog and feel the moistness and coolness it brings. Because this is a famous outdoor sports paradise. Standing in the middle of the lawn, parachutes bloom like flowers in the sky, and people fly freely in the sky like birds❶⓬⓰.　 There are many medieval buildings and fortresses in the town: the church ❿ (above) that has been preserved since the 14th century, the town hall built in the 17th century, and so on. Herwick Street, which starts from Victoria Hotel❿(below) is the main street of the town. There are always more tourists here than local residents. Shops selling high-end clothing, chocolate and various items stretch for about several hundred meters❹(below)⓳. This is the most famous paradise for collectors of world-famous watches. In the perception of Chinese people, the beautiful scenery of Interlaken is far less popular than its watches❹(above). Walking in the town, you can see the undulating hills in the distance, accompanied by a few low-hanging white clouds. In the nearby area, there are houses with balconies full of flowers, and from time to time you can hear the clatter of horse-drawn carriages. Interlaken in the drizzle is dreamy and pure in beauty. Having been shocked by the magnificent mountains and rivers countless times, I was struck by the gentle beauty in the small town of Interlaken in Switzerland. Because the beauty is so pure and perfect, it intoxicates me and suffocates me. Interlaken is a noble princess in a garden, not like a graceful lady beside the small bridges and flowing water in the south of the Yangtze River. Everything is beautiful, and it is hard to leave once we meet.
