Delicious Nyonya food in ipoh

#ipohfood Bee Gaik Dining Place is a beloved Nyonya-Chinese restaurant nestled in Ipoh Garden South, Ipoh. Established in 1990, it has garnered a reputation for serving authentic and flavorful Peranakan dishes in a cozy, colonial-inspired setting. We ordered some of their specialty dishes like Jo Hu Char which is a stir-fried mix of shredded jicama and dried cuttlefish, offering a sweet and juicy flavor. Love the pairing of crunchy cabbage and their house made sambal, which enhances the flavours and textures of the dish. Such a great pairing with white rice as well! The ambiance was rather cozy and comfortable, love the decors of photos on the wall, bringing sense of nostalgia. Would revisit for sure
