Nam Thean Tong Cave Temple

Address: Gunung Rapat, 31350 Ipoh, Perak Highlights: The Nam Thean Tong is one of Ipoh's oldest cave temples having been established in 1867 by a Chinese priest called Kuong San Teik. Nam Thean Tong is in Mandarin and it translates to Cave of the Southern Sky, where the 'southern sky' is referring to heaven. 😲 The outside of the temple has a big statue of Taishang Laojun and the statue of 12 Chinese Zodiac. If you walk inside the cave, there is a steep stairs made of limestone which will lead you to top of the cave where a refreshing breeze was blowing from an opening with a wooden balcony.
