｜Romantic Sea View Palace in Istanbul

During my short three-day stay in Istanbul, I chose to stay at the Sultanahmet Palace Hotel. This hotel is located in the most historic area of Istanbul, at Torun Sok. No: 19 Sultanahmet Mah. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to major attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and there are many interesting shops and restaurants nearby. Transportation is also convenient, with a tram station nearby, making it easy to explore the entire city. The location of this hotel is simply perfect, close to all the famous attractions, especially suitable for first-time visitors to Istanbul. The hotel is decorated in a very Turkish style, modern yet retaining many ancient elements, such as Turkish-style bathtubs and exquisite carpets. Although the hotel does not have an elevator, and you need to climb stairs to reach the upper-floor rooms, it is definitely worth it for the beautiful sea view! The front desk staff is very enthusiastic, providing us with a lot of useful information and helping us carry our luggage upstairs, offering impeccable service. Our room, though not large, was well-equipped. The room offered two views, one of the magnificent mosque architecture and the other of the beautiful Marmara Sea. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning system in the room was great, with hot and cold water kettles and free tea and coffee provided. The most distinctive feature was the Turkish steam bath in the bathroom, where you could enjoy a relaxing bath in your spare time, which was incredibly pleasant. In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast at the hotel's rooftop restaurant, savoring fresh Turkish-style breakfast while enjoying the sea view, which feels particularly wonderful. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious food, especially the unique Turkish-style yogurt and fresh cherries, which are unforgettable. There are also some nice restaurants next to the hotel, such as Vamos Restaurant and Skyline Soiree Rooftop Restaurant, so dining at the nearby restaurants is definitely a safe bet. Of course, there are some minor flaws in the perfection. For example, the room is not large, the furniture is a bit old, and the breakfast variety may be a bit limited, which might get a bit monotonous if you stay for a week. However, these do not affect the overall stay experience! Overall, Sultanahmet Palace Hotel is a highly recommended accommodation choice, especially for first-time visitors to Istanbul who want to conveniently explore the main attractions. I look forward to staying at this hotel again and experiencing the unique charm of Istanbul!
