💐Himeyuri Tower💐Learn about Okinawa's war history

This is a memorial for the female students of Himeyuri Medical Corps who died in the Battle of Okinawa in World War II. You can deeply feel the ruthlessness of war. It is very meaningful. I hope there will be no war in the future and world peace. The memorial hall charges 450 yen and photography is prohibited inside. Most of the videos are hyper-realistic documentaries shot by the U.S. military, as well as confessions from survivors and photos of students who died in the war at the school. Except for the Chinese brochure, the main introduction in the memorial hall is in Japanese and English. Most of the tourists are Japanese, with a small number of foreigners. #Okinawa Attractions
