Japan Shikoku

Shimoda Station (しもなだえき) is a small train station in Iyo, Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku, Japan. The station is famous for its superb scenery, especially its location facing the Seto Inland Sea, and is known as one of the “stations closest to the sea in Japan”, attracting many tourists and photography enthusiasts. Features of Shimotan Station: 🌊Unbeatable sea view: The platform directly faces the Seto Inland Sea, watching the sunset and the calm sea is simply great, like being in a movie scene! ✨ Simple style: The station is very small, retaining the flavor of old wooden buildings, very nostalgic. 🤳 Photography hotspot: Because the "Youth 18 Ticket" poster and many Japanese dramas and advertisements were shot here, it became one of the "must-visit stations in a lifetime". 🚏Location: Shimotan, Twin Sea-cho, Iyo, Ehime Prefecture 🚗Transportation: Take the ordinary train on the Yuzu Line from Matsuyama Station, about 40 minutes.
