Tanah Abang Textile

A visit to Jakarta is not complete without Tanah Abang Textile Market. It is a perfect shopping destination, for clothings, bags and shoes which offers a great bargain. This area is very crowded with shoppers from all over the world. Most of them will come here to get the goods in bulk. I spend almost 2 hours here, to get some quality batik and a bag at a very attractive price. After shopping, I tried out a very nice coffee from the portable hawker stall, which is very famous among the local people here. It only cost me IDR5,000 per cup.
