Rocky Mountain Icefields Parkway

The Icefields Parkway, also known as Highway 93, is an epic 235-kilometer road connecting Jasper National Park to Banff National Park and beyond. It is one of the most scenic roads in the world. Along the Icefields Parkway, you'll experience jaw-dropping scenery featuring more than 100 ancient glaciers, waterfalls cascading from spectacular rock spires, and turquoise lakes embedded in vast valleys. For ordinary travelers, the biggest drawback of the entire Icefield Parkway is that there are no hotels along the way, so it is impossible to stay overnight.
