It boasts an emerald sea but has an average depth of only 1.5m, making it the perfect place for families to come and play in the water. It also has a wide 70m-wide white sand beach that creates a beautiful landscape with the emerald sea. Since it is located in Aewol, it is not far from the Aewol Cafe Street, so it is a great place to enjoy pretty cafes or delicious restaurants on the Aewol Cafe Street after having fun playing in the water. When we went, the weather was cloudy and windy, but it was nice to walk along the sandy beach. I recommend you go to Gwakji Beach, the best place to enjoy Jeju's sensibility all at once, from playing in the emerald sea to resting and eating at the Aewol cafe street :)
