A Day Resembling the Sea, in Jeju

Jeju always speaks to you through the sea. Not loudly, but quietly. With a gentle breeze and a single wave, it approaches as if reading your emotions for the day. This trip was no different. Without any particular purpose, I simply wanted to see the sea, so I boarded a plane. I wandered wherever my feet took me, and somehow, my heart felt calm all day. 🐚 Worries Washed Away by the Sound of Waves The first place I arrived at was a quiet beach. Famous spots like Hyeopjae or Hamdeok are great, but today, I was drawn to a small, secluded beach. I took off my slippers and walked on the sand. The temperature of the sand, neither too cold nor too hot, touched my feet. I never realized how comforting that could be. Seagulls cried in the distance, and nearby, waves gently rolled in and out. The silent moments of walking became moments of self-care. 🐠 Sitting for a While, Drinking in the Sea I stopped by a seaside café. Through the large windows, the emerald sea stretched out before me, mingling with the aroma of coffee and the salty sea breeze. The music was soft, and the people were quiet. Everyone was gazing at the sea in their own way. Just sitting there, breathing felt enough. 🌅 The Sunset Over the Sea, the Day’s Final Gift By evening, the sun slowly dipped into the sea as if touching it with its toes. Pink, orange, purple... The colors kept changing, and I couldn’t take my eyes off them. Whether someone was beside me or not, that scenery was perfect.
