Bonghwasan Rhododendron Complex

#summervacay Decided to check out the Bonghwasan Rhododendron Complex in Jangsu and total spring dream. The hike up Bonghwasan was super chill, nothing too intense, just a steady walk with lots of chances to stop and take in the views. As you get closer to the rhododendron area, it’s like stepping into a pink-and-purple wonderland. Flowers everywhere, just blooming like they’re showing off. Couldn’t stop taking pics, honestly. The vibe was really peaceful, families, solo hikers, a few couples doing the whole cute matching outfit thing. Trails were well-marked, and there were plenty of places to stop, sit, snack, and just soak it all in. It’s not one of those hikes where you’re dying by the end, it’s more about the scenery and chill atmosphere. The air smelled like flowers and pine, and it just felt good to be out there. If you’re ever near Jangsu in spring, this spot is a must. Come for the flowers, stay for the peace.
