Hyangnobong & Jeoksangsan Adventures

#summervacay Had an awesome day out in Muju hitting up both Hyangnobong Peak and Jeoksangsan Mountain, and wow, what a combo. Started with Hyangnobong, which has a bit of a quiet, hidden gem vibe. The trail’s peaceful, winding through dense forest with just enough uphill to warm up the legs. Not many people around, so it felt like I had the mountain to myself. The view at the top? Totally worth it, just layers of green hills stretching out forever. Then came Jeoksangsan, and that one brought a bit more drama. Steeper, rockier, and with more “whoa” views along the way. The trail gave off serious national park energy, with wild cliffs, cool rock formations, and lots of spots to pause and just take it all in. Doing both in one day was a bit ambitious, but honestly, super satisfying. Muju's got that mix of peaceful and epic, and these two peaks show it off perfectly. 10/10 would hike again, just maybe bring extra snacks next time!
