Blossoms, Bites & Chill Vibes at Gwangyang Maehwa Village

#summervacay If you're looking for a peaceful escape with major springtime vibes, Gwangyang Maehwa Village in Palyeongsan National Park is an absolute gem. We rolled in just as the maehwa (plum blossoms) were doing their thing, trees covered in soft white and pink, like a scene from a drama. The walk through the village is super relaxed, more like a stroll than a hike. Cute little houses, friendly locals, and the sweet scent of blossoms in the air, total serotonin boost. We found a perfect spot under the trees for a picnic (highly recommend packing your faves), and just vibed out with nature all around us. There’s something super calming about this place. No rush, no crowds, just you, the flowers, and maybe a few curious butterflies. It’s not an adrenaline adventure, but honestly? It’s the kind of day that resets your brain. 10/10 would go again, especially when the blossoms are in full bloom. Bring snacks, bring a blanket, and bring your chill.
